Being a student is expensive business these days but there are lots of ways to make money in order to support you in your studies.

Tutoring other students can be a great way to make money. You only cover topics that you know and may also benefit from the opportunity to re-cap on the concepts and theories that you originally learnt.

Holiday Jobs

Large retailers often take on temporary staff during busy periods such as Xmas time and also during the summer months when regular staff are taking their annual leave.  This is also an ideal time for students to make some money as it means they can avoid any interruption to their studies during term time.

Medical Trials

Taking part in medical trials is another way for students to make money.  Search the web to see what’s available and remember to always consider the risks involved before you sign up.

ID Parades

Another way to make money is to take part in identity parades at your local police station. This is a great way to make money and allows you to play a part in the important job of putting criminals behind bars!

Jobs Within Your University

If you are a university student looking to make money then have you considered looking for work on campus? Universities employ student’s to run their bars and shops so try contacting your Guild of Students to see if there are any vacancies. If there are no vacancies at present then ask if you can sign up to a waiting list. There’s probably lots of competition for these jobs so if you don’t have much experience then suggest that they give you a free trial so that you can prove yourself.
